SAN DIEGO, CA - The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA’s Eighth Annual Telethon, sponsored by PETCO, the PETCO Foundation, Ralph's and Miramar Kitchen and Bath aired Saturday, March 5, from 12 to 5 p.m. on FOX Channel 6.

The five-hour live telethon featured adoptable animals, informative segments about the Humane Society’s programs and services, heartwarming adoption vignettes, behind-the-scenes tours of the San Diego Campus for Animal Care, the latest animal-related news, advice from Humane Society experts and more!

This year’s celebrity hosts included Clear Channel’s Pamela Howe and KOOL 99.3 FM’s Dave Mason.

Bandit joined San Diego Humane Society volunteers, sponsors and donors answering the  phones and taking pledges throughout the entire broadcast.

This was the second year Bandit had volunteered on the phone bank.  Bandit and Mark look forward to supporting the San Diego Humane Society and other animal shelters in the San Diego area in the future.
