Celebration of Champions 2006 |
|
Rady Children's Hospital Cancer Care Center currently treats over
600 children with cancer. Each year over 130 additional children are
diagnosed. These children range in age from infancy to adolescence.
Treatment often involves painful and intrusive procedures, requiring
that the children spend significant time away from their homes,
their friends and their schools. For these children and their
families, life is never the same. In an effort to raise funds to
facilitate these valuable services, as well as to honor the spirit,
courage and determination of these special children, the La Playa
Unit of the Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary is hosts Celebration
of Champions each year and will be held at the San Diego Embarcadero
Marina Park North. Bandit is very proud to be part of this
very special event. |
